Fools!

Happy New Year!

Alright, it’s not exactly the New Year. But it’s All Fool’s Day, otherwise known as April Fools’ Day. Just for the uninformed, the origin of this day was the result of some big shot long time ago deciding that it’s time to adjust the calendar. Hence, the New Year was shifted from April to January.

And because at that time when this change took effect, information crawled instead of flying the way it does now. Therefore, it took many years for the some to finally learn that they were making New Year resolutions on the wrong day.

These people were then called fools, even if they were really very smart people.

Therefore, when people go wishing Happy New Year on this day, there’s really nothing wrong with them except they were trying to play the fool.

*wink*
